The low down. Fountain rider missed out on the helicoptor shots, he was at the wrong place at the right time. " SCARAB MAN lost a drive friday, so I took him with me on saturday. Shoefly ran wide open for three days in a row, he tried to break it and could'nt ,and we all found out the truth about "white boys can't dance". <<<<Shoefly d@mn sure can't. Colemadina got sauced up pretty good saturday and gave us all a good laugh (he don't dance well either). On a positive note, we all made it back home safely. We made OPEC
rich. (gas was 3.17 on the water). And, we had the best time ever. Everybody was riding loud boats and some ran well over 160mph. whew. Anyway, we're all back now, I'll fix the broke ones this weeke and we'll see yall on the lake Labor day. I still think forum members should meet at chucks saturday before laborday to meet. Bling it on.

Well, obviously Cat had his own issues since he is already denying things before they are even discussed. So, just for the record,
Kittenboat got in trouble with the FAA for his boat into improper airspace...(hey kitten, its a boat its meant to be driven in the water....... not air!!!)
Kittenboat wouldnt know if I can dance or not because kittens cant run with the "Bigdogs"..............he was home passed out.
Then he proceeds to do burnouts in the parking lot.....I used to do that also, when I was in high school.
OMG.....you ought to see this get up he had on Friday night............I mean it was a "Bobby Brown" in the flesh.........Ballon pants and all.....looked like a pure bonafide break dancer!!!!
O yeah, even better, he got the cops called on him Sunday morning , but that is another story!!!!
Well, thats enough for now!!!!!!!

ooouch. My head still hurts today. If I get to go back I'll try to keep the fun meter to a minimum. BTW, I'm looking for a good landscaping crew, anyone know how to get in touch with Cat, or anyone in the 22' Scarab group. Last time I saw them, they were spreading sand, sweeping sidewalks, and racking the yard at the condo we were in....OMG

Hey Colemadina, I'm not sure how to contact the crew doing the landscaping at the condo.But, I think the landscaping business may have gone under after that job. However, they really do some nice parking lot stripping. This was our first trip to the poker run. Thanks to everyone who keeped us from screwing up in new waters. Hey Jim, For us ole country boys from Alabama and Georgia - Bling is what I think they mean by "Rhinestone Cowboy": That is a lot of glitz and sparkle without much substance.
You and I have been there. Kind of like that sparkle they paste on bass boats. Guess it is suppose to attract the bass like the sparkle lures.
Of course, no offense intended, these guys are trying to impress each other with there fancy lures.
You know how it is, I drive by on Sunday afternoon in my 67 Rolls Royce, and everyone is looking at the old Firebird TranAm. I just don't have the right taste. So, they bling it on, and I don't.

man i hate that we missed the poker run but we are ging to stay in Destin next year and do the poker run and all the events that go with it but we had a great time on the cost none the less its good all yall got back safe see yall labor day

I own no property at the lake. My parents are getting older, and my wife and i must stay close by to watch out for them. Maybe one day, we can own property there and live on the lake. You have the Bling thing right on the money. Shiney bezels on all the gauges on the boat, even wheels that keep spinning when the trailer stops. Heck, my tow vehicle is a yellow Hummer with 20 inch wheels on it. We all have to enjoy what little time we have here. So..... for now, my attitude is Bling it on. Work hard, play hard, and then, go back to work.

Hey Feb, My family and I live on the lake and own go fast boats,bass boats, and go really slow boats (pontoon boats). A lot of the "go fast boat guys" live on the lake. A lot of the "go fast boat guys" are some of the safest operators on the lake. Have a great lake day and be considerate to others.

Thank you lakefun. In a weaker moment, the thought occurred to me. I just did not want to think of Lake Martin as the short/test track for test runs in prep for the big race.
Well, it probably doesn't matter. The chance of me being there when they hit the big 140 MPH are pretty slim to none. Even then, I might not see them and simply thought a mosquito passed my ear.
I rather think that Lakeman & I will not have to worry about them trolling and catching any of our fish.
