Please, once you pull your boat out of the water - move it out of the way so others can then either put their boats in the water or pull their boat out of the water.

Waiting to get our boat out and fishing boat pulled out. Driver STOPPED right at the point that people use as turn around in order to begin backing down the ramp. Effectively stopped all traffic on the ramp.

Proceeded to get out of truck, off of boat and fix the motor, put on tie downs, check to be sure fishing gear all stowed, check all the wells and THEN cleared the ramp with a friendly wave....

The top of the ramp had PLENTY of open parking spaces in order for this to be completed.

Please be a bit more thoughtful of others at the lake.

I agree with your sentiments, but you could be preaching to the choir. Maybe, you should of politely pointed this out to the guilty party. Slapping everyone else's wrist will not correct his misbehavior.

But it sure does feel good to vent once in awhile!

Probably right, and I almost said something. But then again, did not want to get blessed out or told to f/o at the end of a pretty great day.

I know it is preaching to the choir, but venting is needed at times. And who knows, someone might read it and say - oops - need to watch that in the future.

Venting is fine.

But patience is a priceless trait!

Don't feel bad....my husband and I were going to launch our Jet Ski. He had to check with the marina manager on which slip / jet ski port would be ours. Another couple pulled up to launch their ski and I told them to go ahead since my husband wasn't back yet. I think they ended up taking almost an hour to launch their jet ski and to make matters worse, the ramp is normally wide enough for two people to launch at the same time, but they pulled directly in the middle so no one could launch except for them. Sigh......it can be really aggravating at times.
