I never paid much attention to this Country and Western Group until I heard their stand on things. They may not be a great vocal group, but they certainly can see throught the BS of the current administration.

I do not believe in the combination of National Leadership and showmanship. It has certainly become blurred. I will support any American that will help us stop the stupidity of the War in Iraq. President Bush will not admit his mistakes, but this is the biggest mistake any President has ever made. He is such a coward he will not stop the insanity.

You ask for it, so here is my honest opinion.

Hey, Feb! I appreciate your guts. With the knee-jerk non-thinkers on this board you will get roasted, but you are exactly right! Invading Iraq was one of the dumbest acts of any President in my memory, and I am an oldtimer. I also admire the Dixie Chicks for having the guts to take a stand. The country has expressed its opinion with a 32% approval rate for this President. Many more will die before we finally get out of that quagmire of our own making.

that I am I will support my country. Right or wrong it is still my country. It seems that when someones pocketbook is hit they will change alliances. I am a conservative and will always be one. I will never again vote for a democrate. The " dixie chicks " are a bunch of cowards that are suffering because of their non-thinking slurs they put out in a foreign country. Anyone who sides with someone who will put down their country is a coward in my book. The way to change things is at the polls. I'm an oldtimer too but I will support my country no matter who is president.

The Kurdsin the north that were gassed by Saddam might have a different view. So might the scientist that took our troops the the componenets they had to bury in their back yards under orders from saddam.

We also send checks to more people EVERY month than any other country on the planet. SSI, Disability and WELFARE!! If they want a BIGGER check, GET A JOB!!

Yea, money fixes everything. We spend more on education than any other country, yet look at the condition the Government Shcools are in. The teacher unions have RUINED education. Take me to one place in America than does not have a HOSPITAL. You liberals have stopped the building of any new power plants in this country since the 70's.

Hmm, I seem to remember it going to the UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT, does PRESIDENT BUSH have brother I don't know about. Besides, Bush won EVERY recount that was conducted by EVERY news orginaztion that went there to try to prove that he didn't. But that was in 2000, I seem to remember another election in 2004 that Bush won handily.

I do when I don't know what I am talking about. But I believe in our country, our system of government and most of all in our millitary. Wherever they are asked to go, they go, they kick a$$ and they leave. I refuse to drink the liberal polititcians and news orginaztions 'kool-aide'. I like to keep a positive attitude and look on the bright side.
