Someone needs to go to prison......maybe several people. This is obviously a cover up and I suspect those allegedly "lost" emails will implicate the White House, DOJ and members of Congress in the intentional trageting of conservative groups to stymie their political speech in order to protect Obama during his reelection bid. What did the President know and when did he know it?
This is all about delaying the truth until Obama is no longer in office and can't be impeached for high crimes. And sadly it will likely work because the GOP has the gonads of a gelding. So many scandals, incompetence both foreign and domestic, hapless, clueless, cynical and criminal. C'mon left wing nuts, defend the worst president in 150 years......I would love to hear it.

Remember when there was such a furor over a 20 min gap in the Nixon tapes? Where is the media out rage on this? I bet a special prosecuter could find them.

And you think liberals are stupid. Get rid of the evidence and the problem disappears.

Sometimes, those that get rid of the evidence disappear.

Third copy is the RAVE drive setup that uses two hard drives in redundancy. Possibility of failure is the same as a lightning strike during a snakebite.
Fourth copy is the backup service I heard nothing about on the "news" or C-Span.

The RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) drive would be on the server and not her desktop or laptop. Still, they are playing fast and loose with someone's freedom. I could be wrong but believe there are some pretty stringent rules...maybe laws...that require all Government emails to be preserved.
What bothers me more than anything is the arrogance with which this administration throws laws aside if they are inconvenient. They know the InJustice Department won't lift a finger to enforce them - something they are sworn to do. That such things should happen is a slap in the face to the Constitution and an affront to our Founders who tried to set the Government up so that this very thing didn't happen.

And tangentially, for those who are urging the NSA to release Lois Lerner’s emails, all it would take are a few keystrokes:
“If I had wanted to pull a copy of a judge’s or a senator’s e-mail, all I had to do was enter that selector into XKeYSCORe,” one of the NSA’s main query systems, [edward Snowden] said.
