Can anyone tell me why they dropped some of the lakes, and left the Biggest one in the South in this Silly Bill that only APC and Russell want?

I thought we settled the debate over whether or not Lake Martin is the "biggest" long ago. (It's not even the biggest lake in the state, much less the south. Although there are some who will argue "It's the biggest man-made-lake-without-locks-that's-operated-by-Alabama-Power-not-the-TVA-that-starts-with-a-consonant so that makes it the biggest lake in the south.")

Also, what makes you think that ONLY APC and Russell are for this bill? There are quite a few of us out here that support it as well, and even though your side has taken the tack that "they don't count, ignore them and they'll away," that doesn't change the fact that we DO support the bill, we're HAPPY that it has passed through the House, and we're PRAYING that the Senate does the right thing and follows the lead of the House.

But we don't count. ANd FYI, it's that attitude those like you have displayed that's giving us a little added pleasure right now!

These guys were being bombarded by those of us who support the bill. So much so that they called for peace. They cried out "don't keep stirring the pudding" and "let's go on to other subjects". So we honored their request. Now they restarted their bs campaign on this forum. They say that they just don't get it. We know that they don't get it. Never did, never will. They should let it rest and deal with it through their legislators.

I've had a live and let live attitude. That is until they showed me, beginning about a month ago, their real attitude. It's me, me, me, it's all about me, look at me in my big fast boat. One of them even put it all in perspective by closing his post with "Bite me".

If you have a boat you want to sell for $3000 so you ask $5000. You dicker with offers back and forth and finally settle on $3500. You go for 11 lakes and settle for 3 which was your primary goal anyway.

Since you HAD to mention praying, think you might need to take your heart, attitude, and one side back to whomever it is you are praying to. I doubt it would be the "right thing" to be "thankful" for what you perceive to be an upset attitude from people that oppose your push for this harmful Bill.

Seriously, using prayer for a bill to be passed for a lake?

Maybe it would be more beneficial for you all to pray for those who will be losing their jobs if this Bill passes. Have a nice day.
