If so and it is updated with prices as you get different fish and produce it would be easy for those who are not passing by to decide to make the trip. It is pretty cheap to do it yourself at godaddy.

Since you're new to the forum, suggest you read the fourth bullet point of the Forum Rules on the Home Page. Advertising and spamming are prohibited. You can buy advertising from the forum sponsor for this page.

First time I have ever entered the Forum world of controversial subjects but if a brand new small business person can get some support and awareness using the Forum then why not? I am sure once the business gets moving they will be happy to provide reciprocal support by advertising. Low margin start up business likely does not have much budget to advertise. Maybe LM's version of TARP this year?

Rules in this forum are no different than the legions of others out there, and usually in place for the sake of the users. Failure to enforce a no-ads policy will lead to a downward spiral of spam and solicitations like you have never seen. Posters are simpletons who don't understand this, they are simply taking advantage of the good graces of their host.

I'm all for new businesses getting a good start, and clearly several have gotten support here, but having them posting "tell me what you want" and "we gots da stuff" all over a board that is supposed to be about LM topics other than commerce is a tremendous waste of time and bandwith.

Not to mention it undercuts Bruce. Running this forum can't be cheap and it's not unreasonable for him to be paid for ad space.

The fact that the new owner asked Bruce to contact them is completely backwards and wrong as well. If not, then I can erect a billboard on your property, advertise my business, and put a note on the post saying "hey, if you want me to pay for this space, call me."

Give me a break.
