Drove below the dam today and the water was churning. Just looked at the generation schedule and boy are they generating some power so I am sure the lake will be going down some over the next few days.

They have been generating for a couple of days now and the level actually went up a few hundredths of a foot.

According to the Alapower lakes web site they are now right on with the revised guidelines for this year.

After the heavy rains over the weekend, that last foot or so should not be much of a problem. Just keep doing your rain dances so that the lake will STAY up

If you want minute by minute lake levels and generation schedules, go to alabama power's website.. Very good and covers it in detail..
