What about Paul Hubbard and the AEA and the $750,000 spent to alter the outcome of the recent run off election for Governor?

The $750,000 was only what the AEA spent with one front company in the run-off. Hubbard spent another $700,000 in the primary defeating one man. He's got two friends in the governor's race now so he says he's going to spend all his money loading the legislature with bought votes. Guess it's legal for the teacher's union.

I was saddened, but not shocked, to read about Sen Pruett's involvement. I once admired the man a great bit, but that was 20 years ago. Amazing how once honorable folks get corrupted with money and power. I wondered what was behind his recent actions. First he switched parties this spring then abruptly dropped out of the race. I have to wonder if he got his 'target letter' back then. Sad sad sad.
