Do not let the so called Fair Tax brain wash you, If you have got 1/2 a million dollars in the bank(as I have) that taxes have been paid on, why the h`ell do I have to pay taxes on it again when I spent it. And dont give me this crap about embeded tax as Boortz does. He is as full of crap as a constipated ape.. Think about it.

Well if that half mil is invested then with the booming economy that will result, your half mil will soon be a mil, and in short order, and then YOU have control over when and where and if to pay taxes, not the crooked politicians in Washington DC.

Why should hard working American, that has honestly drawn a tax paid salary, and invested what is left, wisely over the last 40+ years have to pay taxes on anything but the gains of his investments. Not talking about the freeloaders asking for a handout.

Just read the book, or at least the fact sheet on the FAIRTAX.ORG website. I for one am sick of working until April 15th for the tax man then paying an accountant big bucks just to see how much more I owe the tax man.
Just think, you could by a used boat and pay no tax, an existing home and pay no tax, etc etc. The point is that you have control of your own money.

i like the idea of illegal aliens, foreign tourists, criminals, and tax cheats from the present system contributing to my social security. also like the idea that i will get a check from the gov't every month.
