I would like to thank each volunteer and everyone who made aquapalooza possible. It was the most planned event i have ever attended. I would also like to thank every fellow boater who showed courtesy. We had lots of fun and great boat neighbors !
I am so lucky to be a part of lake martin and share it's beauty with great people! Kudos to everyone!!

I will second your thoughts lakeresident. The organization was unbelievable. I went down twice, once earlier on the Sea Doo where I could ride around and see more and later in the boat to watch Alan Jackson. This event was a true tribute to the people around Lake Martin, including Russell Lands, the Marine Police, the volunteers and the audience. As someone else mentioned, it was like Woodstock but for families. I just hope Lake Martin gets another chance at this event sometime in the future.

It was a great event.

I had several friends that were saying they weren't going because of the number of people expected but I kept trying to convince them that professional Event Coordinators were planning this...not to worry. Luckily my theory was proven correct. This thing went off without a hitch, it was amazing how well the area was setup and how well the whole thing was coordinated.

The only problem I had was with the scumbags that have no respect for Lake Martin. I probably shouldn't have been surprised, but I was amazed at the amount of trash being thrown in the water. You couldn't swim for 5 minutes without a cigarette butt floating up against you and I saw all types of food floating by.
It made me sick.
