Woke last night when a boat came by our place playing a powerful spotlight along the shoreline.  Happened in the middle of the night and I was wondering if anyone might know what was going on.  Boat was quiet, had nav lights on and went at a regular pace.  ???

Did not see it, but did see a bright light across lake one night that appeared to be in the water.  Let us know if you find out anything.

Someone told me yesterday it could have been the marine police.  Would make sense since we've have some breakins lately.

That would be a plausible explanation, as burglars generally prefer stealth.  If they wanted to case potential targets they could do that during the day posing as fishermen, then strike at night.

Wonder if they are part of the big crime... We were hit but not sure what day or night. Found out today.
