so now another college is being held hostage; Princeton was started by Woodrow Wilson; some radicals want all mention of him removed from buildings, etc., because they say he was a racist--where does it stop???

As long as colleges keep complying with this insanity, it will continue. It's time one of them takes a stand, but they won't.

Actually Woodrow Wilson did not start Princeton University. Princeton was founded in the mid 1700's as a Presbyterian institution. Wilson, whose father was a Presbyterian minister, grew up and lived in the south (GA, SC, and NC) until he was a young adult. He studied at Davidson College, Princeton and John's Hopkins and started his career in the 1880's as an Atlanta attorney. His first wife was from Rome, GA. He eventually became a faculty member at Princeton and the University President in 1902. In 1910 he was elected Governor of NJ and president of the US 1n 1912.
I am a great fan of Wodrow Wilson. He was a liberal reformer in the mould of Teddy Roosevelt. On most issues he was ahead of his time. His racial attitudes were more conservative and would be considered primitive today but they were relatively progressive in the context of his era.
I hope the administration at Princeton has the balls to tell these moronic student protesters where to stick it!

They have no one but themselves to blame as they created the monster and it is now eating them. One reason I sent my kids to conservative, Catholic universities so they would avoid this kind of silliness. They actually get a classical education and learn to think critically......what a concept.

Woodrow Wilson betrayed this country by signing in the Federal Reserve.
He later recanted.
