- Michigan
- Florida
- Texas
- Wisconsin
- New Jersery

They are the top 5 states for job growth.  Some had a deficit and now a surplus.  They all are pro business reducing regulations and making it easier to do business in their state, they have all reduced personal and business taxes ...

AND

THEY ALL HAVE NEW REPUBLICAN GOVENORS

(except texas that was #1 previously)

WW please try to get your "facts" from legit sources instead of rightwing blogs and U-Tube BS.

Bureau of Labor Statistics report on job growth in the states from May 2011 - May 2012:

By total new jobs:

1/   Texas      237,000
2/   California     221,000
3/   New York    131,000
4/   Ohio 75,000
5/   Indiana       61,000

By percentage increase:

1/   No Dakota   6.77%
2/   Oklahoma    2.47%
3/   Utah    2.4%
4/   Louisiana     2.3%
5/   Texas  2.25%

I know the states you claim have governors who are the most extreme of the extremes and that really turns you on big time, but only one of them (Texas) should actually be on your list.

BTW: Wisconsin didn't even make the 24 states listed as having "statistically significant" employment gains.  I know you hate to hear that since Scott Walker is probably a special favorite of yours.

I am totally surprised that WaterBoy would post a lie. He will post anything just to feed his ego. Hey LittleBoy, you need to begin to live up to your I Never Lie cause you are looking more and more like a middle school kid. Now, prove you own 3 homes, been to China 25 times, and are a resident of Georgia so your wife doesn't have to hold your hand when you go vote.

Govenor Rick Scott was the co-host yesterday morning and they were talking jobs and they put up the top 10 states for job creation.   Ask them the source of their statistic.

I will trust your cut and paste is what you found ... but i have to say that I am not sure how California can be on that list when there has been businesses and individuals leaving that state to escape the high taxes.  It has been all over the news ... they can not even make their bond payments and want even higher taxes.  I am sure you will react like any liberal ... when the news does not support your view you will say it is bad reporting .... but why hasn't Oblamer fulfilled your predictions?   I am sure it is someone elses fault .... not the bad policies.   So sad that you can not admit Oblamer has been such a disaster and failure.

You may have to take up what you are saying with Rick Scott of Florida (no income taxes) where he said he was #2 just under Michigan where is said the new republican govenor is doing a great job.   It is common knowledge that Texas has been leading the way for quite some time ... even Oblamer is trying to take credit for their success.   Then there is the turn around of NJ and Wisconsin ... sounds like you need to tell them that they have not turned around those states after the destruction of liberal democrat policies.

Maybe IL will learn one of these days.

BTW, tune in this morning ... Christie from NJ will be on.   To answer your question ... yes Scott Walker is my hero ... as is Christie of NJ (previous Dem govenor Corzine will be in jail soon) ... they both spit in the unions face and the people backed them "big time"..   Way to go.   Unions are a cancer to this country ... worse than Oblamer.   Unions only want to line their pockets.   You saw what happened in WI when people were given the "choice" to join the union or not with no recourse ... only about 25% chose to continue to pay union dues.

I would suggest a very large helping of "caveat emptor" to anything, and I mean ANYTHING Rick Scott is associated with.  I say that as one who votes in GA but spends approx 3 months a year as a FL resident. I would also you give a smidge more credibility to the numbers from BLS than CNBC.

BTW:  You are correct FL has no income tax, but I can assure you they do have ways (TAX WAYS) of making up for it.

It is not property taxes.  I just took over my parents place in Jupiter and could not believe how low the property taxes are.

You may not like Rick Scott ... but the voters seem too and he is doing an outstanding job.   It is probably one of the reasons you will be saying President Romney for the next 8 years as he digs us out of the mess Oblamer and the liberal dems have put us in.   It certainly looks like the GOP will control both houses of congress, so we can really reverse the wrong course we are on.   Now that Oblamercare is a TAX impacting people under $120K (middle class) the most ... we only need 51 votes to reverse it in the senate using the same games the dems did to pass it and force down our throat.

BTW, I believe the job growth he spoke of is ONLY new private sector jobs coming from new businesses that have come in to the state.   The measure is a ration to the current base of private sector jobs.

After all, new government jobs do not count ... they are only a drain on tax payers.   That is not saying many of them are not important ... only that they add nothing to the economy ... they only drain from the economy, since ultimately the cost comes from the private sector.

Your parents taxes are probably low due to their having Homestead Exemption as residents of Florida. Now, you can add another house you can't prove you own. Let's see 4....Georgia, Alabama, Utah, and Florida. You are now just two behind me but catching up. You still win the bragging rights on the Forum.

Why would I have to prove anything to you ... why do you care or have such an interest? Is your own life that boring that you have to show your envy?  It is very freaky and scary.   It really is insane.

If you are logging the facts correctly, I sold my Park City place many years ago when I had to give up snow skiing.

I said I took over my parents place.  If you must know all the facts ... my dad is now legally blind and my mother has two pace makers keeping her going.   Neither could handle the disposition of their place in Florida and moved back to New York where my bother is looking after them.   Going there myself in two weeks for the start of the horse racing season in Saratoga.

As I have said many times to your insane posts ... I am happy to prove anything you doubt at any time ... as long as you also will come forward.   It is you and only you that monitors every comment that is made, then you call it bragging.   How is it bragging that my parents can no longer take care of themselves and I take over their property to dispose of it?

See if you were a producer, you use your accomplishments, no matter how modest, to enjoy life.  We are only here so long.  There are plenty with far greater success than me .... but I do not envy one thing they have.  They earned it and should enjoy it.

I have a problem with leeches like you that complain about what others have and show your envy ... when the only one that has been in control of your life is YOU.   If you do not have what you want, that is your fault, no one elses.  We all make choices in life, so unless you can say how someone prevented you from making more of yourself, then quit your complaining and blame who you see when you look in the mirror ... and stop blaming others that you are a failure. No one owes you anything for your bad choices in life. Own them ... you will be much happier.

You are pathetic.

“Eventually the non-producers overwhelm the ability… and willingness… of the producers. The producers, being deprived of reward for their industry, either slow production… or depart for more favorable venues.  The non-producers find that the teats have begun to dry up.  They are being forcefully weaned… a trickle down consequence of their own indiscriminant behavior.  Lacking industry and resourcefulness, they do not understand.  They begin to fight (riot) around the common bowl.  They demand that the producers come back… go back to work… turn the tap back on.

“It is too late.  The system is already crippled beyond healing.”

Well WW if your parents were taking the homestead exemption then for the past 10 or 12 years the increase in appraised value has been restricted to 2% per year regardless of the actual value of their house.  If you sell the house the appraisal will immediately go up to the sale price or a professional appraisal (whichever is highest) and the new owners will pay taxes based on the new appraisal.  This system is great for fulltime residents on homestead who stay in their house for many years, but is a disaster for those of us who have 2d homes which can't take the homestead exemption...in the past decade our appraisals were going up 20 to 30% per year to make up for the tax not being paid by the fulltimers.  Lately we have benefitted tax wise because of falling real estate values and the fulltimers are b*thcing and moaning because their appraisals are not falling and now they are in the position of big yearly tax increases.

If you decide to take out a loan on the house you may be shocked at the transaction tax collected (I think it is about 10 times GA's).  I also suggest that you not register a car in Florida...Newcomers are charged a huge fee (I think it might be $600? can't remember for sure) the first time they purchase a tag.  I have no idea about other professions, but architects pay a yearly license fee of several hundred dollars...In GA we pay $90 every 3 years.

Rick Scott wone by about 1% in an offyear election and in recent polls he has run 10 to 20% behind possible Democratic challengers.  He is generally considered to be the least popular governor in the nation and has been as low as 27% approval in polls and is currently in the mid 30's

Thanks for all the advice ... seriously.    I doubt i would get tags in FL, AL has the best deal.   While I love my parents place, I am going to test the market in a sale first, then rent if i can't get the price.   FL housing is coming back strong so i am hopeful.

As for Scott's popularity, i i know is who i talk too and they feel very positive.   I guess we will see in the next election.  From what i can tell is he has been good for the state.

I see Romney in November for 8 years ... then Jeb Bush for the next 8 ... by then you will not care.  I am 10 years behind you.

That post comes from someone who would gladly mine data on someone (me) who revealed his true identity in an attempt to open an email dialogue, while refusing to give any information AT ALL about himself/herself.  A coward in my book.
