I like the new interactive Lake map on the site index. You can really pull up the satelite map of various areas of the Lake even to the point of seeing boat docks and boats.

Does anyone know how often these interactive maps are updated? I would guess the current satelite views must be close to two years old since the water is way up, and the scenes are mostly certainly of the summer season. ????

It would be great to see a current view from the satelite. Is there another source for a close-up look? I just don't own any satelites. LOL

a stab at it and guess the photo of my area was taken about March 2005. My boat is still on the trailer with the winter cover on it, and the last time we had a wet spring was '05. I haven't seen these photos before. The only photos I've found before were B&W with terrible resolution.

Spring 2006. Anchor Bay cleared its Eastern Peninsula of all growth.

At the bottom the page is the SITE INDEX tool bar. Click on MAPS, and you will see a lage map of the Lake. Just click on a sector and it will enlarge. You can use the direction and enlargement tool on the left top of the screen. They will move you around and enlarge sectors. The top right will allow you to choose the basic map feature or satelite views.

I think it is the basic Google Map feature. Have fun.
