Depends on where you are. Last Wednesday it ranged from the lower 60's toward the main river to lower 70's by midday in the backs of the creeks. The sun really beamed down that day too.

Tuesday it was from 58* in the open water to 66.5* in the quiet pockets. Yesterday I found 58* to 61*. Fishing was tough. Bass are strong on the bed.

Cold.......darn cold!!! Kids went swimming this weekend. Lips turned blue after about 15 min, but I seem to have forgotten the conversion factor between color and farenheit.

Agree on water temps but disagree on fishing. Caught thiry five bass yesterday. Avg.1.5 to 2 lbs. each. All spots caught on points with plastic worms. Great time on the lake.

Saturday with the 30-35mph winds the fishing was tough. Sunday had to be a great day even with the fish bedding.

My buddy and I fished all day on Wed...from 9:30 - 6 or so and only caught two (on carolina rigged lizards and french fries). One of the toughest days in my 30+ yrs of fishing LM. We covered a myriad of different patterns and techniques and nothing clicked. I'd love to know anyone's secrets who caught fish that day....
