Contrary to what the right would lead one to believe, the President's energy policy is showing positive results.
"Step back, Saudi Arabia and Russia. The U.S. will become the world's top producer of oil by 2020, a net exporter of oil around 2030 and nearly self-sufficient in energy by 2035, according to a new report from the International Energy Agency."

GF, perhaps you could enlighten us on exactly what it is with TOTUS's energy policy that is making this happen. Now be specific, don't just say it is happening so it's the result of his policies. When you are done scratching your head because we all know the answer, I will gladly educate you. But I want you to try first....c'mon, surely you can come up with something.....but be specific.

Fish ... you are in denial and desperate to find something, anything that is positive from this failed administration.
Look, he won or stole this election, it is by no means a mandate, and it looks like he is starting off breaking promises in the campaign, just like he did the last 4 years. He will say what he needs to, to get ignorant people to vote for him, then never do what he says, and people like you never hold him accountable.
Since the election, the stock market has been down every day but one, where it sneaked out a tiny gain.
Now he is ready to drive America over the cliff rather than work together like he said, only because he believes people over 250K should have a higher tax rate ... even though it will do nothing to improve the situation we have and will hurt small business owners that create jobs. What an idiot he is.

And we all know why. My Lord, did he not know that Steven Chu, the current energy secretary, has opined that we need European gas prices (i.e., $10 per gallon)? No, not the head of EPA, but the Energy Secretary whose job used to be to ensure the country has enough energy. Did he not know that permits for oil and gas exploration on federal lands have been cut in half during the last four years? Did he not know that the TOTUS administration put a moratorium on further exploration in the deep Gulf of Mexico and other offshore waters while at the same time giving the Brazilians billions in aid to explore for oil off their coast? Did he not know that EPA has clamped down on exploration in the U.S., including issuing baseless administrative orders to try to prevent fracking for shale gas? Did he not know oil companies issued permits to explore on federal lands and offshore lease holdings over 10 years ago have yet to obtain all the federal permits from DOI and other agencies to do so? Did he not know that oil exploration is subject to the requirements of National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Air Act, Coastal Zone Management Act, Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act and the National Fishing Enhancement Act, not to mention a myriad of state and local regulations? Did he know that BLM recently passed complex regulations for fracking on federal and Indian lands?
And finally, did he know that the vast majority of current oil and gas exploration has occurred on private land not under the immediate control of the federal government?
The answer is that the only thing that GF and libtards like him know are things that are just not so........
