Explosions at the Kabul airport and a hotel - US personnel are wounded (and perhaps killed?)  More explosions are expected according to the Pentagon.  Our humilitation continues. 

HR McMaster says that Biden Administration is disingenuous in saying that Trump negotiations with the Taliban tied their hands.  He correctly pointed out that Biden has walked away from other Trump agreements and policies, so there was no reason that they could not walk away from the one with the Taliban.  

Apparently Biden is counting on Americans having a short memory.  He has no idea the long lasting damage he has caused.  Americans may have short memories, but the Europeans don't.

Very sadly, the string of Biden/Harris defeats increases daily.  From Supreme Court rulings, OPEC denials, COVID, Cali turning Red, loss of a Connecticut state Senate seat to Repub, approval ratings in the low 40's, MSM turning on him to now this Afghanistan horror.  He thinks he is getting cover from the MSM, but America (particularly the Independents) is/are watching closely.  When you are senile, incompetent and yet arrogant enough to be smug with WH press reporters, one hopes he realizes his current state of desparation.

Pentagon is saying that a number of US service members were killed in the attack.  Wonder who Biden will try to blame this on?  He's probably huddled with this staff to figure out how this is not his fault and he can put a spin on it as some kind of success.  

We're going to see this every day now until the last boot leaves the ground, and then the killings will start by the Taliban.

Look, I don't want to be callous here but Biden DOES NOT CARE!  He doesn't care about American citizens.  He does not care about about American soldiers.  He literally has no soul because his mind is gone.  He is senile.  He has dementia.  He is being run by socialist idiots who think they have the magic sauce to make something that has never worked to suddenly work.  These people are amoral.  They have turned away from God.  They are capable of any atrocity.  That is where we are today because people didn't like mean tweets.  I would like to say I told you so but look at where we are in a mere 7 months.  Even I never imagined they could do so much damage in such a short time.  But I knew they'd make a horrible mess of things and they have not let me down.

He brought up his dead son again.  His son served in Iraq, not Afghanistan, he wasn't wounded.  He developed a brain tumor years after his service and died.  There is absolutely no parallel between those service members who were killed and wounded today and his son.  

At the end of his speech, he took questions and the last question he took was about who was taking responsibility for this masacre today.  Biden, being Biden, went on a path of trying to blame Trump, then saying he stood by his decision to withdraw, and other mumbo jumbo about how great this airlift is - if he says one more time that only the US could do this and it is the largest of its kind, but he never once said that he was responsible.  He blames the ISIS-K, he blames the Taliban, he even tries to blame the military who endorses his plans, but he never once took responsibility for all the chaos.  If our senior military can't come up with a better strategy than the one we are seeing, then we are in serious trouble.  But anyone with half a blame would not not announce a date and pull the troops out before the cilvilans.

What makes anyone think he can take on the Taliban?  He!!, at this point he couldn't properly perform the duties of a school crossing guard.  The image of him hunching over the podium when Peter Doucy reminds him he is POTUS will define his presidency.  That was the seminal moment for him forever.  I think your last sentence says it all.....anyone with half a brain.....which excludes Joe Biden.

This is the lowest point for our country that I can recall in my adult lifetime.  It is beyond grotesque what these people running Dementia Joe are doing to our country.  I hope every college educated woman that voted for this senile, doddering old fool because of Trump's mean tweets has the integrity to hang their heads in shame.

I was listening to it on the radio, so I didn't get to so the physical theatrics until later.  The pained look, the bowed head, the ferocious stare.  They really should give him an award for pretending to care.  

I understand that there are calls now for Blinken to be removed - he might be the most imcompetent that we have had in a while.   I think Austin ought to go too, and that idiot National Security Advisor and that Biden should be impeached.  Maybe Harris can stay in Hawaii.  I guess he closed her comments to the press, because she knew they would tear her up.  I understand she got a really tepid reception in Asia.  

I sat out the last election.  I didn't want Trump to be re-elected and I knew Biden would be a disaster.  I hope that somewhere there is a Republican with a backbone who doesn't want to embrace the crazy, far right, that is wishing he had run.  And that he/she will show up for the next election.
