News broken today fromt he transcripts. There is no way Obama didn't know what was going on with the quid pro quo as he referred to Obama not wanting to be seen paying Blago off for the union job. I give the One his due credit. His idea of change was to have a pay for play scandal before he even take4s office. I defy any of my liberal Obama supporters to have the same moral indignation and outrage they are so quick to show toward Republicans. Calls for resignations? Indictments? Prison time? I dount we will hear for any of those calls. They will give them the benefit of the doubt I am sure.

And finally where is the liberal, dominant media watchdogs on this? In the tank for the Messiah as usual. It is no wonder they are declaring bankruptcy and laying people off all over the place. Will wonders never cease?

I don't consider myself liberal, but I do support Obama.

If someone involved with the investigation says that any Obama associates are suspected of wrongdoing I will indeed call for resignations and prosecutions.

From everything I've read, the people in the investigation are going out of their way to make clear that Emmanuel is not suspected of wrongdoing. Usually they will give the standard "we don't discuss ongoing investigations."
I would think if he knew of the pay for play scheme he would at least be suspected of ethics violations.

I don't give a crap about what McCain says and he has never been my "hero" nor did I support him in the primaries. I supported him in the general election because he was a far cry better than Obamination. Who I will listen to is your hero Patrick Fitzgerald who prosecuted Scooter Libby and was your kind of guy when that was his focus. Now that he has turned his attention on the corruption in Illinois run by DEMOCRATS we will see how much you support him. I will listen to him and see where this leads and who goes down to protect the Messiah.

The fact is the media didn't do their job of properly vetting Obamination because they wanted him to win. Well, now we will see what kind of a White House we get with a guy who cut his teeth in the criminal enterprise known as the Chicago DEMOCRAT machine. That was my point during the primaries about this guy and was my point during the general election. But you and very other mind-number liberals or alleged independents (code for people who don't really believe in anything and just follow the majority) just blindly banked on "hope" and "change" without ever really thinking through the concerns of people like me.

Well we got him and have you and others that were blinded by Bush Derangement Syndrome to thank for that. We will see where this leads and for teh sake of the country lets hope this is not a harbinger of things to come over the next four years. Scandal before the inauguration.......y'all must be very proud.

"Emanuel, who has long been close to both Blagojevich and Obama, has refused to respond to questions about any involvement he may have had with the Blagojevich camp over the Senate pick. A spokeswoman for Emanuel also declined to comment Friday.

One source confirmed that communications between Emanuel and the Blagojevich administration were captured on court-approved wiretaps.

Another source said that contact between the Obama camp and the governor's administration regarding the Senate seat began the Saturday before the Nov. 4 election, when Emanuel made a call to the cell phone of Harris. The conversation took place around the same time press reports surfaced about Emanuel being approached about taking the high-level White House post should Obama win."

My main point here is not that they were involved directly in the pay for play scheme of Blago. But that OBAMA LIED and someone close to him did discuss paying Blago off with a union job and it appeared that person had conversations with the Messiah. Where this leads we shall see but I would take no comfort in an AP story and Emmenuel simply agreeing with the story because he likes it.
