Right after Trump spoke from the Oval Office, the DJIA Futures Market started to tank another 1,000 points. Is he telling the truth or is he lying? His lies are coming back to haunt him and there is the lack of confidence in him as a leader in a time of crisis.

I am hoping Trump can restore confidence by acting Presidential and stop his middle school name calling. In the past, when times got tough for him he just bailed out by declaring bankruptcy. I am pulling for him to lead us out of this dooms day time.

Goofy, you are not alone in celebrating suffering by the American people.  I listened to his comments and he showed leadership by taking action and trying to stop the silly panic created by the media.  And right on cue the Biden comm director accused Trump of letting this happen....talk about weird, bizarre and sick conspiracy theories.  And all the media can fixate on is that he correctly identified the source of the Wuhan coronavirus.  Once again the left and the media are acting as useful idiots to try to destroy this country if it gets them their political wet dream fulfilled.  I would say shame on you and shame on them but shame is not something that the left has.  So just keep it up.

Trump's very weak performance last night shows he is still not facing reality.  He is locking the gate after letting the horse out of the barn and promising to make us well by cutting our payroll taxes!  He is, with saving his own azz as the most urgent need, still looking at this as a political and economic problem rather than a public health problem.  If he was a real leader he would have declared a national emergency (after all if the wall is required because of a national emergency surely saving innocent lives is also a valid reason), and taken some of the difficult but needed measures nationally that governors, college administrators, businesses and even the NBA are taking!  Who would ever think we would see the day when we looked up to Italy for wise political leadership and courage?

MM, you don't need to panic but you do need to face reality which obviously neither you nor Trump have. Again last night he played down the likelyhood of any particular individual becoming infected and advised that for most who do it will be mild and go away quickly...thank you Dr Trump!  Some very sober and apolitical medical experts are saying that since this is a new infection never seen before (meaning no one has built up a natural immunity) and with no vaccine available it is not out of the realm of possibility that two thirds of the earths population could, not will, but could be infected.  MM when do you admit it is real and serious...when 10 to 40 million Americans are trying to find a spot in one of our 800,000 hospital beds?

He's such an idiot.  The market dropped over 1,000 points yesterday with no Trump speech.....it's because he isn't taking the seriously.  The next day futures drop because he is taking this seriously.  This from the same people that called him a racist and xenophobe for stopping travel from China two months ago and now they are criticizing him for not acting quickly enough.  These people are despicable and are useful idiots for the ChiComs.

In many ways I hope for the rapture/meteor/pandemic/climate change to wipe out the planet and leave it behind for the animals.

What truth are you seeking Archie that is not being made public?  It's a virus.  It is contagious.  Can last aerosolized for up to 9hours, on surfaces longer, no vaccine exists yet therefore, certainly use sanitary caution when in public.  If you think that you should lock yourself in your house and not venture out, by all means do so.  If you are 75, still working, then certainly utilize caution when touching anything, washing hands religiously, don't touch any parts of your face with unwashed hands.  Don't need a mask unless you are in a germ tube (airplane).  Yes a pandemic, but I doubt that 30-40 million will be affected.  This is what causes panic and it seems you are on the verge.  

My suggestion for you is to listen to the good folks at the CDC, pay attention to what you touch, disinfect what you think is a possible inanimate vector, and use good ol common sense.  The government is not going to do this for you, although I suspect you on the left expect it to do so.  As we learn more about it, steps will be taken to limit the spread.  Doesn't mean that anyone is late to the punch.  Smart people are all over this Archie.  This unfortunately for the left, will be another Trump shining moment.  And you offer a confused, rapidly mentally declining career politician as your best alternative?

Watched the President's speech last night and then the "expert" comments afterward.  The "experts" felt it was evident tht Trump didn't care about people, because he didn't talk about testing or anything medical, and said that he only cares about the economy.  There is nothing that Trump will ever do that will satisfy the liberals.  Someone needs to worry about the economy - he's got Pence and company to worry about the medical stuff.  The problem is that liberals don't understand anything about economics, so they totally missed all the good things the President announced last night to help small businesses whether the storm.

You have it exactly right.  If he had focused on the medical issues the left and the media (but I repeat myself) would have slammed him for not caring about the economy.  And if he addressed both they would have slammed him for not focusing on only one of them.  The sad, sick and twisted reality is the media and the left (including Archie, Goofy, et al) are beyond thrilled about this and more than happy to score political points in the face of financial misery and the loss of lives.  The ChiCom's are thrilled that Trump is being blamed by our own citizens which is right in line with their propaganda.  For the media it is a twofer......zillions of clicks while they stoke the panic and the opportunity to work with the ChiComs to hurt Trump politically. 

Never thought I'd see the day when the left is actually thrilled with the deaths of Americans but then again, we had the daily running total of deaths during the wars in the Middle East and they do love their abortion so maybe it's just to be expected.  Still seems to me a pretty dang sad day for America but at least maybe they will now be able to see the left and the media for what and who they really are.
