The Obama administration has decided to let CIT fail. Not that I think that is a bad thing, but it is interesting that the amount they need (about $2 billion) is so small in comparison to the other bail outs and his wasteful stimulus package. CIT even put a very viable plan forward, yet it was rejected.

So when Obama has a chance to show he cares about mainstreet and small business (who CIT supports with leanding) that are the job creators in the US ... he gives them the finger.

I would have to think that our liberal friends here are going to have a hard time saying Obama cares about mainstreet and the little guy when he has bailed out everone else and now such a small loan in comparison that will help keep our small businesses viable, he turns his back.

There is a lot to read in to that related to his agenda. It will also contribute to more job losses and more business failures.

It makes me sick to watch this guy destroy the heart of our country and to care so little about small businesses and middle to low income people. How can anyone support this guy and his policies.

How can any of you liberals see this as a good thing and support it.

Since people like Lady, GF and Archie are more concerned about what Palin said, or why republicans are supporting the F22, or who Gov Sanford did (BTW I posted a picture of her below) ... I look for them to post something about these non relavant topics rather than share their views on why Obama finally decides to let a financial institution fail and it is one that supports small business. I forgot to mention that the CEO of CIT supported McCain and did not contribute to Obama's campaign.

Prior to the election Obama said he supports small business, but his record did not support it ... partly because there was no record. Now he has a chance to show he does and he turns his back.

Could it be because small business overwhelmingly supported Mccain in the election?

CIT is a financial institution ... it does not stand for Cap in Trade (yes I am against). have that second cup and I'll bet Morning Joe will be talking about it. I know it is early for politics ... :)

Speaking of Obama's war on the productive class, if he gets his way the top tax rate for the highest earners in NYC will be 57%. I don't have the numbers but I am betting the rich liberals in the upper east and west sides of Manhattan went overwhelmingly for the Messiah. Now they are looking at only keeping 43% of the money they earn. If it wasn't going to destroy our economy and punish small businesses I could actually relish in the irony of it all.
