"Section 431(a) of the bill says that the IRS must divulge taxpayer identity information, including the filing status, the modified adjusted gross income, the number of dependents, and "other information as is prescribed by" regulation. That information will be provided to the new Health Choices Commissioner and state health programs and used to determine who qualifies for "affordability credits."
Section 245(b)(2)(A) says the IRS must divulge tax return details -- there's no specified limit on what's available or unavailable -- to the Health Choices Commissioner. The purpose, again, is to verify "affordability credits."
Section 1801(a) says that the Social Security Administration can obtain tax return data on anyone who may be eligible for a "low-income prescription drug subsidy" but has not applied for it."
Another very good reason to oppose this Obamination!

The title of the piece says it all.
'Cruel and neglectful' care of one million NHS patients exposed
One million NHS patients have been the victims of appalling care in hospitals across Britain, according to a major report released today.
None of them were named Ted Kennedy I can assure you.......yet another reason to oppose Obamacare. And no, I will never call it Teddycare of whatever Dems want to call it. This stain is on the Messiah and the Dem-controlled Congress and they will not get away with trying to take advantage of Kennedy's demise to score sympathy support. Isn't going to work......desperation ploys rarely do....

The tax info requirements mentioned above are another reason I have problems with this bill, ---but more inportantly, it's how liberals think about it that bothers me.
-First, is the reading of tax returns a good way to see who requires credits assistance? --yes , it is. It is one of teh ways of having comparable data upon which to make decisions.
-However, the left's way to do this is to have access to evryones data and use it pretty much as they see fit.
-The conservatives' approach is better. The conservative's approach would be, commissions don't get to look at and use tax data unless someone files for heath care credits assistance. Once you go to teh government for extra help that others aren't getting, then you'll probably should have to undergo teh indignities of bureaucrats shuffling thru your papers to detemine your need. I know there are many unfortunate cases where people in real need have to submit to asking for extra help, yet when you ask, it is only reasonable that the government should be able to determine your real need.
-Bottom line: the left wants the heath commissions to snoop into everyone's tax papers using this data for who knows what;, the conservative says let's just look into those papers that require it in order to determine a specific need. ---This is a great example of the difference between the two philosophies.
