Thanks almost everyone, returned to store on monday morning at 6:00 am and there Toby was with a leash on and no one to be seen.

Awwwww glad you got him back. Maybe he found his way maybe the person who took him had second thoughts or found out who he was.

Any way thank God he is back.

I have large breed parrots and over the years they have at on time or another got away from me.

It was pure panic and reaction to get them back.

I climbed 80 feet into a tree where the branches got to be less that 1" and never gave a though to my safety is was all about Milo my baby bird (5Lbs) and getting him back.

Other wise the Hawks would have come out in the morning and that would have been it.

Glad you got Toby back. My prayers were with you.

We watched this thread from afar, but we did look for the ranger and Toby as we travelled hwy 49 the last few days. Glad he's home, keep the leash a little shorter. Mulligan the War Eagle Dog.

When we came by this afternoon, Toby was laying beside the door outside the building. He wasn't tethered either. Both husband and I remarked as we left that he could easily disappear again, or he could see something on that busy highway that enticed him to go out into the road. I hope nothing happens to him.
