As just another example of the fecklessness of our Democrat-led Congress, they can't find the time or the balls to pass a budget but they are going to have some half-wit liberal comedian testify.  Oh yeah, they are also naming a couple of post offices and other important stuff.  Meanwhile the GOP is making sensible, adult proposals (at least to everyone but Hound) about what Congress ought to be doing while the idiots she and other independents put there fiddle away.

If I sound angry I and millions of other Americans are angry about the incompetence, the corruption, the stupidity and the blind leftist, statist ideology of the modern Democrat party.

Lame Duck Democrats are going to be fuming when they come back after the elections.  They will want to punish Republicans, Tea Party, conservatives, your sister… anyone… the “stupid” American voters.  Maybe they’ll vote NOT to extend the Bush tax cuts.

Good!  That will end up squarely in the lap of the Pretender in Chief.  Republicans will have to re-establish the cuts… undo the undone.

Because of this fiscal misadventure, the hopelessness of the private sector will be prolonged.  The American Dream is dying.  Resuscitation is still months away.

It was funny that now the dems will not push a vote for limiting the extension of the "Bush" tax cuts (Obama now refuses to call them that) since they know even members of their own party think all the tax cuts should be extended. They thought they would box the republicans in and it back fired because now the dems again look out of touch with what the people the represent want. People are smarter than the dems give them credit for ... the american people know raising taxes on anyone in this economy, that the filed Obama/dems policies have created, is a bad idea. People have wised up that redistribution of wealth is not the answer. Allow people to be rewarded for success and hard work. The more you penalize success, the more jobs that leave and you reduce risk taking that creates jobs. We have companies and individuals now moving to more tax advantaged countries ... Obama does not get it. He thinks he can play Robin Hood and those he is taking from will not react and look at alternatives. If something was not done, he would have less and less people and businesses to take from.

The Democrats in Congress remind me of a a few sayings while growing up in Tennessee.

1. " You can't sit on the porch and run with the big boys'" The American voters can be fooled every now and then but do not depend on fooling them at every election.

2. "Some of these dumb As%es would have to study to make an F". The first one that comes to my attention is the Rep. from Georgia that stated that the island might sink if additional troops were sent..

3. "That dog won't hunt". We're wising up to the mob from Chicago and we ain't going to take it any more -  Watch the voting in November.
