Has anyone had an adjustor look at their roof yet? My car was beaten up badly and will cost $2200 to repair. I looked at the roof and did not see any damage but I have heard I should probably have them look at it for damage I can't see. I am just curious to see if anyone has done so yet and what the results were. I am near Chimney Rock...thanks in advance

It is not just about torn or missing shingles. The plywood under the shingles could be damaged. A competent roofer or adjuster should be able to discern this. We have't had an adjuster out here yet, but from the cars, siding, deck and other damage, I expect we will need a new roof also. I am in Still Waters.

Had my truck looked at yesterday, the adjuster says it will take $4609.30 to repair then he says oh... I forgot to add the price of a new hood so it will be a little more. A friend of mine had a little over $4000.00 damage to his truck and the adjuster told him "yours is mild compared to some I've seen". I guess we were lucky but I hate to be without my truck for three weeks.
Will have someone over today to look at my roof...looks ok from the ground but I'm not sure what it will look like once on the roof. Keep your fingers crossed that it is not damaged.

Oops! Thanks Man...I will definitely get the adjustor out there...BTW I saw the Tornado...it was awesome but when the Hail came down I thought the house was gonna cave in and ran for the basement!! :)

Still Waters here. Car damage is $3,200 (unless the hood requires replacing), damage to siding and windows very evident. Waiting on roof inspection and estimates. It could have been worse, but don't want to sit through another one.
