I would like thank everyone for there good and negative comments about my new restaurant . We read the comments and I discuss them with my staff on a weekly basis . We are dedicated to have a fun and good restaurant on lake Martin .

Customers are faster to critize than to praise. What really gets to people is no attention to the tables, lost orders, bad food and in general slow slow service.
Get them in and get them out, turn the tables. You have a great opportunity and you have a great location so make the most of it NOW. You are one of the very few locations that's accessible by boat. You are also following the trail of those before you in this location that really ran business off so give extra special service.
As you know and have read on this forum, dining is almost its own forum and is a popular subject. I know you understand this, but I would be sure that I always had a floor supervisor that is watching every phase or step. Someone making sure every table has been greeted, every order taken, and eye on the cooks for the progress of the orders , eye on the clearing of tables etc.
I hope that you are very successful with your restaurant.

We went Friday night and I was very pleased. Got there about 8 pm and had a good crowd. Had to wait about 10 – 15 minutes for a table and was seated outside. Very pleasant. We had a very nice, young waitress named Carolyn. She is from Auburn and was as attentive and pleasant as our waitress at Spring House a couple of weeks ago (which was great). Four thumbs up for her.
I had grouper and it was top notch. Reminded me of eating at Harbor Docks in Destin, which I love. I ran into a friend who was sitting at the bar and he said he had the steak (night special). He was pleased with it also. We drove, but there must have been 15 or 20 parties that came by boat. There were boats parked everywhere. I will definitely go back and it is nice to be able to enjoy the lake until almost dark and then be able to go somewhere and it still be open to get a nice meal.

We also went on Friday evening. Arrived a little after six and were seated right away. Had raw oysters and crab claws as appetizers, both were very good. Had the grilled grouper, fried oysters, steamed shrimp and catfish, all were excellent. Our guests commented on the waffle fries as being very good. The batter for the crab claws and oysters contain some pepper and are excellent.

We decided to give it another try Sat. night... Service was much better than our last visit. Everyone seemed to know what their job was this time. Food was great. We really hope you do well... perfect location for a good restaurant! Agree with earlier post... Service is very important. Keep up the good work!
