I put some Christmas trees under my pier in hopes of attracting some Crappie, but so far no luck.  When do the Crappie show up?

Most of those trees look dead.  Have you had your soil tested?  :-)

I think all of those are really good observations.  Worst of all are those steps beside the trees that lead down into the water.  If indeed the trees draw the fish in, they may be harmful to the docks and bumpers.

You need underwater lights on the Christmas trees as a fish attractor. Also, underwater tinsel left on will look like bait fish. A gift or two left under a tree might help. Now tell us where the dock is located so we can test it for you.

Snakes like those little christmas tree thingees, a lot.  Ain't nothing like a snake farm under your dock.

The reason they are not biting is because I am not fishing there.  Put enough water under there to wet a fin, and I'll catch something.

You must wait until the water is covering the trees. For sure..

no... the liberal fish will be unable to distinguish between tinsel and bait. They'll swallow it even though it will eventually kill them.

Naaa...LNG will work his magic and those trees will produce big ripe tomatoes in 2 months...and then the fishes of all sizes will show up...
