I fail to understand how any REAL Conservative can continue to support Trump after he signed the stimulus bill with all the "pork and big government". It shows the lack of character of both Trump and his supporters that he capitulated on the bill and they continue to accept him as their leader. A rather sad time to be a Conservative.
Happy New Year as we enter a new bright future in 2021.

Sorry Goofy but Trump signed a bill with redlines to remove the pork to foreign countries and increase the amount of cash given to Americans. Do I wish that the government were handling this pandemic differently? Of course. Were they to follow the science we wouldn't even need this spending.......but they aren't and we do. So yes, we continue to support the President, even if he does things we may not like or support because the alternative to him is socialist madness.

The greatest President in my lifetime was damned if he did and damned if he didn't. I sure would have wished that he would not have signed it and just sent it back to Congress for pork removal, but the entire weight of DC was fully against him. He took more punches directed at us than any president since Reagan. For that I applaud him. I doubt that Hidey and Ho will tolerate being stabbed in the back as many times as Trump was, then again, Hidey may not even realize that he is expendable.

Isn't it always interesting that left wing nuts like Goofy demand we comply with ideological purity on our side but it's anything goes on the left. Trump does something we don't like we are supposed to abandon him altogether......as if there was some other choice for us to turn to. It's really hard to take people like him seriously when they are so inconsistent and discordant in their views. And I agree he has been the best President we have had since Reagan. That's why he is so hated. He actually has done what he promised to do when he ran for the office. They are used to Republican presidents abandoning their promises once they get elected.

requested, in the document he sent to Congress, every penny of the “pork” you and he now suddenly find abhorrent So which is it? Is he just taking one more opportunity to screw things up or does his left hand not know what the right hand is doing or is he just stupid or is it all three and more? You tell me.

Not what I understood from the Whitehouse.gov statement. Trump sent a red-line version back to Congress with a line by line rescission request that he was legally able to do via the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. The wasteful monies in the bill Trump is requesting Congress to remove. He cannot remove them.
Now if you have seen the red-line version of the document sent back to Congress personally Archie, please post it here so we can verify the accuracy of your comments.

He has two Right hands and they can't figure what the hell to do as he packs his bags to go home from his overnight stay in Washington. He thinks he can hide in Florida from the New York AG...it doesn't work that way as he will ask his buddies on the SCOTUS to protect him from being forcibly transported to NY in handcuffs. They will tell him to go forth and face the music for you have sinned. And, the 45th President will leave his long ties in Florida for a jumpsuit of many colors and return to New York. Yes, he will finally get to return to his New York.

maybe your ''hero'' should have maybe taken at least a quick look at the budget before he sent it to congress? HUH? It's always a little embarrassing to change your mind once the dye is cast.

before you comment? Did I not just say he red-lined the items that he wanted Congress to address by using the Impoundment Control Act of 1974? In my world, that suggests that was advised and acted somewhat appropriately. I, if in a similar position, would have just torn the whole damn thing up. The debt we are leaving future generations is criminal. Trillion here, trillion there, DC needs to be shut down.

If the idiot had known what he was sending for approval in the first place, as he certaily should have, he would have been able to use his dam red sharpie when it would have done some good...he could have made the changes BEFORE they were voted into law instead of after the vote when he has only 2 choices...sign or veto! Face it CRD, the ''grestest president'' of your lifetime and your ''hero'' is not playing with a full deck. Not good for a guy with the nuclear codes!

Archie, explain for us just where the negotiations for the Omnibus Bill begin? Congress needed the Omnibus bill as a vehicle for the COVID Relief Bill. The negotiations were done for both bills initially in Congress, this was not a WH budget bill.
