Yesterday I drove to Chelsey vet to see a female black and tan bloodhound that had been found in Wilsonville on Wednesday. It was NOT Millie, but she most definitely belonged to someone as she knew how to sit and lay and was very friendly. This gives me hope, with warmer weather and the economy being like it is, maybe someone will put Millie outside where she can be seen or get loose. She'll be looking for the lake or a body of water to swim in... Remember she's a large black and tan female bloodhound about 2 1/2' tall, weighing about 85lbs., she mas a black mask around her nose and eyes and a black saddleback. She's been spayed but you wouldnt be able to tell that from looking - her stomach was completely covered with hair. My email is Wendylondon@windstream.net or cell # 334-320-5781. Thanks guys!

I've never forgotten about Millie and I still keep my eyes open for Bloodhounds when I'm driving around.

Have seen a loose bloodhound on Pace Point, in fact saw her (?) this morning.. Looks healthy and well fed, my wife thinks she's local but I'm not sure..

Contrasted with the sad bloodhound I recovered from an abandoned 8' deep well on Youngs Island. Poor thing had been missing for weeks, late stages of starvation and in impossible situation. Fortunately we reunited 'Duke' with his owners and a full recovery. (Reported in Lake Magazine a couple of years ago.) So don't give up hope!

Got your numbers from your post. Does 'Millie' have a tag, collar or other ID? Will keep my eyes out.. Wishing you the best and good luck..

When Millie was last seen she had on a pink harness with her radies tag hanging in the middle of the back loop (it had contact information engraved on the back of the rabies tag). However, after six months of being missing, I feel certain she no longer has the pink harness on anymore. He has a saddleback that doesn't extend all the way to her tail or up her neck (just the center of her back) and her muzzle, eye sockets and bottoms of her ears are black. She's been spayed but you're not able to see a scar as her stomach is completely covered in hair. She does NOT have a microchip, which I truly regret, but not sure it would have helped in the case of a stolen dog (most theives wouldn't take one to the vet anyway)...

Please let me know if you see the bloodhound near your home again and if it looks like it could be Millie....give me directions and I'll sure come see if it's my baby. Thank you!
