About three weeks ago I brought my Scarab 22 to Lake Martin from Galveston, Tx.
The boat ran but not as it should have inspite of being serviced by a large marina in Clear Lake last year a substantial cost.
I had the boat taken to Cathouse, and they took care of all of the the problems at a very reasonable fee. (less than half of what cost in Texas)
In addition Steve and Mike and the whole staff kept me informed of what was wrong and got approal before doing the work.
I am usually unhappy with service work done to cars and boats, and with the prices charged. This was a true exception. The work done was very professional and the fees were very reasonable.
I might add that when I went to pick-up the boat, I noticed boats form Florida, Texas the Carolinas, Georgia and other south eastern states. Obviously others are willing to go out of their way to get the service that we have here in our area.
