Time for the few Conservatives and the many Forum RINOs to accept the truth that the Right loves debt. 40% increase in debt under Trump.

"During President Donald Trump's tenure in the White House, the national debt grew by some $7.8 trillion—or nearly 40 percent compared to the amount when former President Barack Obama left office in January 2017.

In his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump said he would "get rid" of the national debt during eight years in office. The president is actually leaving office after four years, having lost his re-election bid to President-elect Joe Biden. But instead of addressing the national debt during his four years in office, the Trump administration oversaw a significant increase even before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the government to pass massive stimulus legislation.

When Trump was inaugurated on January 20, 2017, the national debt stood at about $19.9 trillion. As he leaves office this month, the national debt has grown to about $27.7 trillion. That's an increase of 39.2 percent."

And your source?  Don't post stuff in quotes withou saying where the quoted material comes from.

What part of the deficit increase came after the pandemic began?  Also, did you fail 9th grade Civics?  The President proposes a budget but the Congress actually approprites the money.  Which party was in change of the Congress?

Don't confuse Goofy with how the government actually works.  He also seems to forget the pandemic and all the spending precipitated by the shut down.  One could argue whether the shut down was necessary (I think it was a disaster) but once they did it the spending was necessary to limit the damage to the economy.

Deficits are a bipartisan problem.  As I state frequently, Democrats are driving toward the cliff at 100mph and Republicans are only doing 30......but we will get to the cliff either way.
