OK LTL said that Dadeville is not dirtying the waters and is in comliance. He wanted me to cut and past from the report but here is something I found today. If this does not spell out the situation in Dadeville nothing does.
OK LTL Hope you are sitting at Jackson' Gap thinking up how to discredit this.
Besides the repairs to the city's sewage lines, Smith said plans are in the works to fix the treatment plant itself. He said a master plan was recently developed listing various options the city could take to fix the treatment plant problem.
"We've decided pretty much to upgrade the sewage plant," Smith said.
He said the upgrades would double the treatment plant's capacity and cost between $3 and $4 million.
Our real effort now has got to be to make sure that Dadeville and its illustrious Mayor live up to their word. Remember, Dadeville has knowingly been in serious violation of the law for over 5 years. We cannot accept their word--only their deeds.
But LTL you said they had repaired all major violations, that they had cleaned up theri act....now you are saying 3-5 million to repair and upgrade the facility.
Admit it LTL you were wrong, the city of Dadeville WAS NOT in complance and if they had trouble paying fines of less than 10K do you honestly think they ae going to spend 3-5 million on the treatment facility.
I also noticed above there is a public hearing in June. LTL If Dadeville was in complance would there be a public hearing.
