Suppose for a second that you are 85 years old.  You are home alone in your house and it is 10 o'clock at night.  You have just gone to bed.  Your doorbell rings and you are not expecting anyone.  So you pick up your 32 from your nightstand and head to the front door.  You open the door (you also have a storm door) and see a black teenager standing on your front porch.  You are aware of home invasions and robberies committed against the elderly and you get scared, because you think this uninvited person is going to rob you.You think they are trying to open your storm door.  Now a younger person might slam the door and call the police, but you are in your 80s, and instead of doing that, in your fright, you shoot through the glass, hitting the black teen.  You fire again hitting the teen in the arm.  

The teen leaves your porch and goes into your neighborhood looking for help.  He's been shot in the head and arm.  He's in the hospital but has now been released and is recovering at home.  Media reveals that he went to the wrong house on the wrong street to pick up his brother.  He is a good student, a musician and an athlete.  You are arrested for shooting him.  

Benjamin Crump gets involved and suddely this is a major racial incident.  A WHITE man SHOT an unarmed BLACK teen.  The media picks this up and suddenly no one cares is you were in your own home, old and scared of being robbed or worse, and took action because you were afraid.  People are calling for "justice" for the teen" and talking about sending you to prison for the rest of your life.  

Turns out, you live in a country where blacks do no wrong, and no one cares that you were in your home and perceived a threat.  'That's where you now live.

No doubt in my mind he will be indicted.  The race-baiting mobs are descending.......unlike Dadeville where they don't care when blacks shoot each other.  And for that I guess we can be grateful for the sake of the citizens of Dadeville......a very small consolation for us and none for the families. 

The fact is these race baiters don't give a rats behind about the fate of black kids.  If they did, they'd be marching every day in Chicago.  They only care about the next opportunity to get press attention and the money that follows.  MLK would be rolling over in his grave.

and let me know the difference in this shooting..... ignoring rate - other then the person who got invited to the White House for race relations and the national outrage being manufactured over one of the two almost identical deaths.

While I feel for the old man who shot the black teen - I feel that while he may have been afraid, as long as the kid did not attempt entry or other stupid things that could have caused the fear, other then being woke up by someone knocking -  the shooting was not justified even under stand your ground based on what has been reported.  

The person who shot the lady above that was shot in her car while the homeowner was on his porch - needs to go to jail for a long time, but with DA Bragg/leftist DA's spending every waking moment on Trump he will probably be let off or at worst a very short time in jail if charges are brought!!

Have you seen decent reporting on the Dadeville shooting?  So far other then the kids who were killed, I have seen nothing regarding suspects or anything else.   What I saw this morning, there might as well have been no known motives, persons of interest, no idea what happened or why.

I agree that usually when they do not specifically announce it was a MAGA hat wearing white racist/transphobe/Hilter you can usually fill in the blanks as to color/political slant.

I expect they know exactly who they are looking for and keeping it close to the vest.  For one thing, they are most likely juvenilles, and for another, give them a chance to find the bastards. I don't feel the need to know everything, let them do thier job.  I can assure you Dadeville PD is most likely deefering to ABI and possibly even FBI.  There are a lot people that must be talked too and most of them going through trauma of their own. Dadeville is a small town hit by a horrible tragedy, give the ones in charge some breathing room please.  How is me you or anyone else knowing details at this point help the situation?  I am willing to give them the benifit of the doubt for now and the next couple of weeks maybe.  I thinks some reward money would go a long way to helping locate them now and am dissapointed that I have't seen any so far, but again, it is usually for geting info on who did it, and i think they know who, now it is just where are they?

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I agree with you about the homeowner in upstate NY that shot the woman.  She was in her car and they were leaving when he decided to shoot.  That's just crazy.  

I guess the thing I think about the old man in KC - he didn't kill the teen as he was leaving his house.  I'm not saying he was right to shoot, but I can imagine a scenerio where it was a terrible mistake and not a "hate" crime as some want charged.

Regarding Dadeville, it's not so much what they aren't saying, but it seems like a total freeze out of any information.  It's feeding the rumor mill.  I read today that there are two cheerleaders from Pike Road in ciritical condition.  I think one thing is that it is coming to light is that it would seem that these kids were good kids - involved in athletics and good students  for the most part.  So that makes it more puzzling.

According to radio when I went to lunch 2 teen brothers in custody now from Tuskegee for the shooting.  

If guilty, may they spend their lives behind bars for what the did.

Looks like they picked up a third person yesterday and possible still after a fourth- what I heard on the radio going home in terms of the tip of the iceberg is the charges that will get added to this as time goes on - so far just the one charge each.

Only reason I heard about that one was someone referenced it in regards to the differences in the three shootings and only one invited to the White House for racial reasons because it was the only one that fit the demonrat narrative regarding how people with less pigment just want to kill everyone.
