As far as I have heard it is still on as of this past Thurs. As had a Loin's Club member call me to solicit joining the Poker Run.
Told him already signed up. He said only 47 applications as of last Tues night.

I personally can confirm 2 more since last tuesday. I just want to know where it starts, goes, and how much I am going to win(000!!!)

Have to go to the Ridge beginning at 8:30 on Sat to pick up number, etc.
Then from there you are on your own. Think you have to hit Ridge Marina to pick up card by no later than 11:00 and then I think the next Marina cuts off at 2:00 but do not remember which one, may be River North. They should give you all the inof at the Ridge when you pick up number. Marinas / pick up points last I heard were:
River North
Ridge
Blue Creek
Real Island
Kowlagia
Sinclairs
Aquapalooza (spelling?) starts at 2:00, I believe and bands, etc begins at 5:00. Winning hands, etc at 5:00 as well as Sinclairs and you have to be present to win.

We all need to get up together and have a beer . I will be in a Harris pontoon boat , white with a wide blue strip going down the side and a big hard top covering about 2/3 of the boat . See ya'll there.

The Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run is definitely on for Sat. July 28 with a lot of participants already signed up. There are still spots open and you can sign up at The Ridge between 8:30 and 11:00. This is part of Aquapalooza that starts at Kowaliga at 2:00. The band Sweet Young'uns play at 2:00 and 4:30. The Parrots of the Caribbean play at 3:30 and 5:45. The Parrots are the #1 Jimmy Buffet tribute act in the country.There will be anchor buoys by Sinclairs and a prize patrol boat will be out. The Poker Run winners will be announced at 5:15. For more information you can contact Terri at 256-212-1479. Show up by land or water and have fun.

The one with the HOBO shirt and hat on - LOL and running like heck to get back to the car to go get my GO SLOW pontoon boat going (From River North) to ensure I make all the stops before they close - LOL.
