Considering the cost of the motor and how often you have to change the oil, I have always used Yamaha in my 4 stroke. To me, the cost of the oil is small compared to owning a boat. I also use Yamaha Ring Free Additive each time I fill up along wiith Sta Bil. I use only NON ethenol gas.

Agree with GF. I have always used the Yamaha oil for my jet ski. It's a bit more expensive but not so much that it's worth taking a chance on other products. I also think if you have always used Yamalube it will help if you ever want to sell it.

Thats a good question. As a Yamaha Dealer, I can say that Yamaha Corp. is very high on maintanence and service. Depending on the size of your YAMAHA outboard, Yamaha offers a complete oil change kit to make it easy on "do it yourselfers". The kit comes with everything you need. Down to the replacement oil drain screw gasket. Oil, Filter, etc. packed in one simple kit. IT is available at your local Yamaha dealer, and in not too expensive. As a Yamaha dealer, I am suggesting using Yamaha products. I have used other oils, with no appearant problems, but in no way am I suggesting you do that. What size engine to you have?

Yes, we stock the kit. Total price is $70.50. In the long run, I think you will be happy that you did it this way.
Respectfully,
Steve
