I know that I'm just dreaming that groceries are not higher (coffee, +50%); gasoline ($0.50/gallon); drilling permits being issued in the Gulf and Alaska; and my SS check is really higher than what the bank deposit shows.
Oh well! I'm just glad that I live in a country where our leader takes a position and stays the course. Am I dreaming again? Did I hear that military trials will be in Guantanamo and not NY! No way! Holder is too busy protecting "His People" and Obama's presidency is successful due to the passage of Obamacare, same sex marriage, and "don't say, don't tell". There is no way that Obama would shift $2B to unions, Verizon, and GE for early retiree medical cost for their support of Obamacare. Obama does not "buy" support for legislation and does not give favorable treatment to unions..
Qaddafi is "shaking" in his boots now that Obama has said he is not a target.I'll bet he feels support for another 40 years. Things are great under Obama. All the crooks are still in Chicago.
And, if Egypt needs a Muslim leader that would help the Muslim Brotherhood move to power, Louis Farrakhan might be a candidate...

Yes, prices are up. Across the board. The economy goes up and goes down. You want to be depressed? While they are freezing SS, the executives of all major companies are getting huge bonuses. Transatlantic (the guys that owned the platform that blew up) gave their executives huge bonuses for safety. (Okay you can tell me how it's a big company and overall they had a safe year... tell that to the families of the 11 that lost their lives)
It's too soon to tell what is going to happen in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood can call for whatever they want, but the Egyptian people will either embrace or reject that call.
We didn't start the uprising in Egypt, and we can't control the outcome. Anyone that thinks we (read Obama) can, doesn't understand much about foreign countries.
