Since when is it more important to turn a deaf ear to someone who may have leaked highly "classified" material to the whole world and is a felony punishable up to ten years to the detriment of protecting the people of the United States from repercussions that could result from such actions. In my opinion, if any person, whether an employee of a investigative agency or an employee of a news agency leaks such classified information, they should be identified and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Every person who has been granted access to classified information is fully aware of their responsibility for the required handling of that information.

If someone broke the law, and can actually be identiifed - I say punish them regardless of party.
