Has anyone played with the maps that you can access on top of this page?

When I have played with google earth and other satelite images it never would give a clear picture of any part of the lake. but with this one I get a clear picture of my house and am glad I was not sunning the buns. Just kidding but the pictures had to have been taken less than a year ago because my house was built in April of last year and you can see no construction around it.

Just wondering if anyone else had missed this, I am a little slow.

Google must have recently updated these because the satellite images of the lake were all blurry until I just looked at this.

So these must be pretty recent for sure.

It is much clearer than Google Earth.

I built my pier in May and I can't see it so it had to have been done before that.

Our house was complete in April and we bought it in August and the tree by the water was dead. In the picture I can see it is alive and still there so it had to be between April and July.

Cool to see details of the lake like that,

it must be the same now because 6 months or so ago I went looking for the house on Google Earth or Google Maps and could not get much closer than telling what was the land and what was water.

I just went on Google Maps and got the same picture, Wish I had been partying on the pier to see what it looks like from above. haha.

Just looked at my house in Birmingham and it is still the one that was there 4-5 years ago.

Must have just updated the rural areas that had bad pictures.

It is Google maps which always seems to be a little behind Google Earth for whatever reason.
