Yet another out and out lie from Jimmy Carter II..........
Actually what he meant to say was 80% of his ardent supporters want higher taxes because they are losers in life that live off the productive of society or some trust fund that their grandaddy left them.
I have come to believe that the only value created by the Obama presidency is to begin to make Jimmy Carter look mildly competent by comparison. A task that before Obama I did not think could be accomplished by anyone other than Hugo Chavez, Achmideniwackjob or Robert Mugabe. My guess is that peanut brain is really smiling as he will finally be replaced as the worst President of the last 100 years........he will only be the 2nd worst President of the last 100 years. And to think I actually had to shake his hand twice.

there was a(n) bold faced lie(s) in the conversation(s). Funny how O states 80% suport tax hikes yet, same day both The Hill and RCP feature polls with 34% supporting tax increases, and 60% saying DO NOT raise the debt limit. This dude, when not golfing, threatening the press, offering dietary advice, holding beer summits, being entertained by celebs, calling his own bluff, attending his fundraisers, sending US guns to Mexican cartels to kill Americans, telling producers to sacrifice more for those unwilling to work fish or hunt, or spending 80 minutes per day 4 days in a row offering no plan to solve the spending crisis, undoubtedly spends the balance of his time sniffing his own crack. Chairman O must go!!!

I am really disappointed in you. You are excellent at expressing your opinions, (I think most of them are crazy), but you don't usually outright misrepresent what someone else has said (stretch it a bit maybe but not downright mis-quote). In the above post you fell off the wagon hard!. I can't believe you have the gall to put the subject line in "quotes".
Obama DID NOT say "80% of Americans want higher taxes". He pointed out that polls have shown that 80% of Americans prefer to begin to solve the debt problem through a combination of spending cuts and added tax revenue.
Of course the President did mis-speak just a bit...the Gallup poll, to which he was likely making reference, found that 20% of Americans wanted spending cuts alone, 30% wanted mostly cuts with some added taxes, 32% wanted equal cuts and taxes, 11% wanted mostly or completely additional taxes (those commie, pinko, socialist, blame America, baby killers no doubt) and 6% had no opinion or refused to state. To be correct Obama could have said "At least one poll found that 74% of Americans think added tax revenue should be included while only 20% of Americans want to attack the debt through spending cuts alone".
Obama made a minor factual slip-up, whereas you slopped a bibful!

He did not "miss speak just a bit" ... he outright distorted the poll to mislead people that do not take the time to check the facts and see that he is a liar.
Keep those rose colored glasses on as he and the dems continue to bring down america.
My God ... you were the one with all the forecasts of how his programs were going to work and where we would be .... sadly we are not even close ... and areas like unemployment, that really matters, we are far far worse and YOUR president is laughing about it ... now he plans a birthday party fund raiser for himself on the day that he claims we will default if the debt ceiling is not raised.
Now the republicans are willing to give him what he said he wanted, an increase in the ceiling with no cuts ... just agree to a balanced budget amendment to put us on a path toward a balanced budget. He will not do it ... one reason .. he does not want a balanced budget it it means a smaller government. He wants the socialist deam of government control and power ... with people working for the government rather than the government for the people.
I say don't raise the ceiling ... pay the interest on the debt, SS, medicare and defense .... and send home everyone else.
Over the next 10 years Obama budget is to spend 45 truillion dollars and he can not come up with 2 to 4 trillion to cut? SICK !!!!!

Are you really that clueless? Wait......you voted for Obama so you don't need to answer that.
First of all, here is the quote from the Messiah. "80% of the American people support an approach that includes revenues and includes cuts." Of course being the mindless sycophant you would fall for the trap of referring to a single poll just like the man-child did, albeit incorrectly. But Archie, he didn't say "According to a single recent poll, 80% of Americans...." That is because he would then have to explain his cynical and deceptive use of a single poll result that he likes versus the truth about what the American people really think about raising taxes to cover his profligate spending and failed economic views. No, your man actually lied about the wishes of the American people in a desperate attempt to support his infantile position about raising the debt ceiling.
This one poll does not even remotely reflect the results of a multitude of polls on this same issue. Without going into all the reasons why (methodology, how the question was asked, the proportion of brain-dead Dems/Independents/Republicans polled, etc.) you already know the poll is wrong because it doesn't mesh with all the others.
You see Archie, words have meaning and Jimmy Carter, II just out and out lied about what the American people want.
Drive by again Archie.....I always enjoy the opportunity to demonstrate once again why you are a wrong. Don't you ever get tired of that?!?!? Like shooting fish in a barrel. :-) Now I am off to a charity golf event for a home school group. Yep, the very ones that the Teacher's unions want to shut down......great kids, well educated and well formed, no drugs or alcohol, babies out of wedlock, ignorance about globaloney, etc......
