The SEC has only one football team in the AP top 15. Don't think I've ever seen things quite this bad before.
I know, I know Goof-idiot you think this post should be in the Sports Forum, but this is an emergency situation....we need riots right now!!

Haven't you seen GOof-butt rioting at the local McDonalds? HE faithfully represents the last 13 dimokraps in Alabama not on food stamps.

I think we need to start a petition and have a protest to do away with the playoffs and just acknowledge that Alabama is the winner of the National Championship and that Nick Saban is the best coach anywhere.
For my Auburn friends - I was really sorry to your loss on Saturday. But I think that it will still be a great Iron Bowl.

Some behind the scenes info says Pettway is out until the bowl game, and White's shoulder was reinjured early in the GA game and he didn't tell the coaches. Two wheels off the wagon...and it wouldn't surprise me for White to have shoulder surgery in the off season. May have to pull Woody Barrett's redshirt.

LOL! But at least it is worth fighting about.... I have never thought it would happen, but I just love football now. Not in a vicious way, but I really do enjoy it.

Its going to be a game, hopefully Auburn can get some people back to health before it and have at least a chance. Auburn has always either been hot or cold, and the Iron Bowl there have been upsets and is probably one of the few games I would never place a bet on. It is either going to be a slugfest or a absolute beat down one way or the other. I can at least respect most of "you people" who root for the Tide lol.
I heard Sean White may have reinjured his shoulder and didnt tell anyone during the GA game - can understand wanting to stay in and try to do something, but not smart he could end up with a career ending injury similar to Tyrone Prothro (may be before your time following Alabama football - wide receiver 2005, do not google video of his broken leg if you are squeamish ) not that I am about to try to equate the two injuries, because Prothro's was just horrific to watch - just the effect of injuries, if we have some backs down as well as the QB its not going to be much of a game.

I heard about Sean White. the last I looked, he was being blamed for the loss of the game. Injuries are always a problem. It seems tht this point in the season, the players are getting tired and then they get hurt more easily. I just hope that they don't get career ending inuries. Funny, how when you watch it all the time, you get to feel a little protective of these young men. They are so big, yet they are just young adults and sometimes do the stupid/crazy things that young adults do.
I'm not one of those bad-mouthing Alabama fans. I didn't go to either school, so I can be happy no matter which of our two Universities win. And now Troy is moving up.

If you look at the number of catchable balls SW threw, they can hardly blame him for losing the game. I remember one in particular where he hit the receiver in the worst of places - in the chest. Also, I think the coaches are to blame for not replacing him...time after time it was three and out...either they are slow on the uptake or Franklin has some pretty serious flaws that are keeping him off the field.

The really puzzling thing to me is in the early games the criticism was they were using two quarterbacks and swapping continuously with neither having a chance to get a rhythm or a real chance to show leadership. I don't follow sports close enough to have a clue what the problem is or was, but it was a very disappointing loss. Especially so for me because I have a nephew who is a real obnoxious GA fan of the redneck variety and now I have to listen to him for at least a year.

My nephew is a Dawg graduate. He and the family went to the game. Before the game, his wife went to the library where she ran into Vince Dooly. Had a conversation with him and took some selfies. My nephew and son saw Charlie Tippi and his wife...Tippi signed the son's Georgia jersey. Obviously, a great weekend for them.

Rude do you think it is wise to admit to child abuse in such a public place. Just kidding of course. One of my neighbors son is a high school senior this year. They have very strong ties to AU with family all over the town and even a couple of facilities named after an ancestor. Imagine their shock when he applied to several schools but not AU. He's been offered a total free ride at UA and is planning to accept their gracious offer. Seems the kid wants a true college experience without family looking over his shoulder. Don't blame him. He's a great kid and will do well no matter where he goes, without his grandmother dropping by..... Lol.
