Always thought soccer was a communist sport.

First , there is no scoring after running around for 2 hours. Why don't they make the goals larger? That's why the fans are so frustrated and turn violent and kill each other.

Second, there is no meaningful contact so sissies like to play it. It probably is a good girlie sport. I would be afraid it would make my son gay like the French players.

Third, the so-called term "soccer moms" is about the silliest thing I have heard of. Can you hear the 16 year old 200lb bruiser of a kid explaining to his friends that his soccer mommie makes him play the sport?

Now Lacrosse is a different story. I call it soccer-on-a-stick. You could really whack a player with one of those things. Unfortunately, the players are also aware of this so they wear full body armor. Probably invented by Rugby players but the French got a hold of the rules......

Well, I guess there's always Badmitton......

Well RR, You have to account for the general population change based upon uncontrolled borders. They will bring their games with them while sending the green backs South of the Border.

I heard there was a demonstration of a hundred thousand Mexicans the other day over the Presidential election there. I said good, means that is a hundred thousand less currently trying to cross the border. Now, which direction they proceeded after the demonstration is scarry.

Actually soccer players are pretty hardcore. During the average 90 minute game players will run between 4 to 8 miles. Most soccer leagues have tournaments in which teams will play 2 or 3 games in a day twice a weekend. That means that if it is a slow game on average a soccer player will run atleast 12 miles during that tournament. Unless of course that player is the goal keeper During the world cup players can get millions of dollars in bonuses for scoring goals. I'd act like a sissy too when i got hit if i could get a foul called that set me up for a shot to earn me millions of dollars and fame. Recently one of the Brazillian players was offered a contract of $110 million over the next ten years and he turned it down because he wanted more. That $110 million did not include offers that he will get from say umbro or other large soccer companies. Can't say that I would mind faking a couple of injuries for a few million dollars.

A more informative insight. I am sure it is like everything else, you have to be the best of the best. The other 99.99999% of us will have to earn less and in an easier way but want share it with agents and bodyguards.
