I'm sure that all of us have seen this many times via e mail from friends, etc. Every time that I read something like this, I get pis%$# at our stupidity.
We are being invaded by illegal Mexicans and others from Central America with a few from the other parts of the world. I hate the term illegal aliens. They are not from outer space. They also are not Hispanics. They are primarily Mexicans with Aztec ancestry.
This has nothing to do with immigration. We have an immigration system that allows people from different parts of the world to come to this country and become citizens if they so desire. We are a law abiding society or we are not.
If we drive without seat belts, we are stopped. Not because of our sex or color but because the police can see. It's time that we elect representatives who believe in obeying the laws of our country. If the laws are bad, change the laws.
IF YOU CROSS THE NORTH KOREAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU GET 12 YEARS HARD LABOR.
IF YOU CROSS THE IRANIAN BORDER ILLEGALLY YOU ARE DETAINED INDEFINITELY.

If a contractor who had the lowest bid had any illegals working? Have you ever asked a landscaper if any used illegals? Have you ever asked a day laborer too show you his green card? Or, are you willing to hire an illegal to save a buck or two? If business refused to hire illegals the problem would not be as severe. If those who hire maids and nannys would cease to hire illegals the problem would not be as severe. We created a monster when there was so much construction and jobs for illegals were readily available. I have a hard time showing sympathy will the aress of the country that hired the influx of illegals and now are faced with welfare and supporting them. This problem should have been stopped years ago but both parties are responsible for it.

You are right on your main point: We created an attractive work environment for them.
What I don’t understand is how they are allowed to dip into entitlements.

GF. You just scratched the surface on the problem with employers. It's the food industry, construction and on and on. What is funny in a warped way is that businesses like mine always obey the law and check the status of potential employees are the ones paying the price. But lets be realistic, as much as the hard working illegals are a problem, the criminal, gang related illegals need to be dealt with right away. What we need to do is secure our southern border, starve the illegals of jobs so they go home of their own accord and aggressively go after the Mexican gangs. I would create a prison right on the border specifically for gang members, give them their time in prison and then deport them right across the border. Securing the border is key to all this.
