Haven't heard much from this group on gas prices lately. Easter Sunday my wife and I drove down to the panhandle for a couple of weeks of well deserved decompression. We filled up in Damascus, Ga for $3.829/gal. Today comimg home we filled up in Bainbridge for $3.599/gal. Turned out to be a big mistake...in Damascus the place we stopped on the way down was at $3.499. Now, we of course know where ALL the blame resides for the $3.829 price!! But wonder where you guys suggest we place the credit for the 33 cents drop over 2 weeks.

Let us know when it gets back to $1.81 when Oblamer took office. Thanks for the monitoring the prices for us all.
It is almost as stupid as Oblamer speech on "speculators" ... does he mean investors. We all know he hates capitalism. Gee, why isn't he scolding the speculators in Natural gas for driving them so low. What an a s s he is, always looking for something or someone to blame for HIS failed policies.

I did not answer your question ... Oblamer deserves 100% of the credit ... as the econonmy heads back in to recessions, jobless claims back up ... his failed policies are creating less demand, so prices are falling.
Do you think he scared the heck out of the futures traders? Or maybe it was all his successful solar projects, or the Volt? Or the pipeline he has said he will veto after doing the photo shoot at the segment that was built because it did not need federal approval.
Archie, why don't you tell us who derserves the credit and why!!!

Here's yet another simple economics lesson for you Archie. We are between the spring break blitz and the change to summer blends which are more expensive/summer vacation travel which raises prices. The Teleprompter in Chief can have an impact on both, albeit supply more directly because of decisions like blocking the Keystone pipeline, preventing exploration and production in the Gulf and on federal lands, etc.
Here's a challenge for you Archie, since you were economically illiterate enough to want to give Oblamer credit for the reduction in price, I assume you will do likewise when they magically go up a again before Memorial Day, except in this case it will be you blaming your Dear Leader. You can't have it both ways.
But either way you look at it, when the Messiah took office gas prices were less than $2 per gallon and will be over $3 and maybe over $4 in November. Whether it is fair or not, he will get some of the blame and will be hard pressed to lay this one at the footstep of Bush or the "do-nothing" Congress or whatever his current, desperate strategy will be to get reelected.
Archie, I admire you willingness to expose your inability to think clearly to us. It is always fun to skewer.
