has ranked all 50 states plus DC on the strength of their economies based on such factors as job growth, investment, income growth, population growth, education, percentage of people without health insurance, unemployment rates, number of new businesses established, etc. 

The top 5:

  1/  Washington State

  2/  Utah

  3/  Massachusetts

  4/  California

  5/  Colorado

I'm sure it is a mere coinscidensce that 4 of these states with more than 55 million people are blue while one with 3 million is red.

BTW:  GA came in at no. 9 and the great progressive state of AL was no. 38!...at least well ahead of 2 more red state bastions MS and LA at 49 and 50 respectively!

Don't know what difference it makes to anyone other than the likes of you Wix.  I am not familiar with the demographics of most of those states but do know that CA, the one you far right Trumpista nuts always point to as a fetid failing hell hole, is a lot more diverse than AL.  Why do you think the great state of AL is doing relatively so poorly Wix?  I'm betting part of it has to do with AL having so many narrow minded, hate filled and off the wall crazy residents like you ruining it's prospects!!

It is a well known fact that some parts of the country have different demographics (make up of the population) than others.  ARCH-IDIOT is trying to compare all areas with each other without considering all these factors you mention.  To compare AL to MA is ridiculous by any standard.  Two much difference to compare...why try??  Only a dumbass dimokrap would try.....

I doubt you will find demographics include “football”.....shame it doesn't!  If you compared Alabama Republicans with Massachusetts population you would find very comparable results.....unfortunately we have to drag along dimokraps which is like dividing every category by ten.

Wix is correct, MA and AL are very different...MA has the 3rd strongest economy in the country and AL has the 38th and MA has a lot fewer of the WIX sort than AL!!  The mental quality and ability of your citizens does effect how well you do as a state!
