stopped in Alex City at La Posada on my way to the cabin tonight. I'm the grilled shrimp taco lover..... so, I took the suggestion of Talullah and Spyke .... I ordered the carnitas! great suggestion! very much like the shrimp tacos, just with some awesome FRIED pork ... who knew! thanks for the tip guys :)

I still think their house guacamole is the bomb. Margaritas aren't a slouch either.

I'm stuck in Fungummery tonight but will make my way north tomorrow. Looking forward to it, and who knows, just might include a vist to LP....

My wife, for the first time ever, read the forum the other night...saw your "Mr Hodja" post and thought your post was mine...the next day she wanted to know if I got drunk and went to the lake without telling her...once I figured out what she was talking about I almost croaked from laughter. Understandable mistake but still hilarious...next time please say "Hey, MrHodja" or something like that so I'll stay out of the doghouse...ROFLMAO...:>)
