I imagine that this lastest proposal of hers will get the same amount of consideration her wild-a22ed ideas usually get. Don't forget -- people actually elected her to represent them.

That is an extremely scary thought that people can actually think that she is the best representation for their voice in congress.

But I don't think that is true ... they pull the lever because it says democrat, or the area that she is the representative, they like the color of her skin.

I don't think so. I think you'll find that she represents a primarily minority district. I think in some cases it's not the political party that is carrying the day, but the personality of the individual.

Look at Washington DC and Marion Barry as Mayor. They'd elect him again if he ran and it wouldn't matter what party he ran under.
