Results from Fulton County in the Ga Senate runoff in December won't be finalized until it is known how many votes will be needed to make Warnock the "winner".

Yep, being a Ga voter it has been frustrating for years. Big surprise for me has been how Cobb co has gone dem, so who knows Cobb May start doing the slow dance as well.

Think I’m gonna get away from the all the political ads for the next weeks and stay at the lake for awhile!!

A very encouraging message from your leader.

Two things....one big and the other not as much.  You need only look at all the development in Smyrna over the last 20 years.  Overwhelmingly apartments which attracts younger and lower income residents in large numbers that reliably vote Democrat.  Second is the people from Fulton and DeKalb that came here for the lower taxes, lower crime and excellent schools.....but are too stupid to understand that the reason for all that is conservative governing principles.  So being the parasites that they are, they killed the host and have now invaded a new one and are likewise killing it.  Within a decade Cobb will be like Fulton with regard to crime, taxes and failing schools....actually they are already failing in SE Cobb where Democrats run the show.  Not yet in East Cobb but give them time.

The way you describe it, you will never be happy living in Cobb County.   I fail to understand why you don't leave the County and move to Lake Martin fulltime? You now have the freedom to live wherever you wish. Then, you can post why you moved...to get away from those people.

Another option is Florida in the winter with no income  tax and up North in the summer. Vermont, New Hanpshire, or Maine is a great option. The best of both worlds. Enjoy your money.

"Overwhelmingly apartments which attracts younger and lower income residents in large numbers that reliably vote Democrat." The Republican party has changed under Trump.  When you look at a Trump rally, all I see are whites who appear to be better served by the economic policies of the Dems. I don't see whites who appear to be country club members.

Of the 105 Cong Districts with the highest percentage of college grads, 77% have a democrat representing them while 66% 0f those with the lowest percentage of grad are Republican.  Goes right along with the stat l saw a few years ago (unable to find it again) that indicated 80%+/- of white high school drop outs vote GOP while 70%+/- of voters with Grad degrees vote Democratic.  Of course the Lake Martin area is one of those exceptions that proves the rule.

How 'bout that big red wave?  More like a pebble thrown into the Trump Cult's cess pool.

Now Rudy et al starting up yet again with the tiresome ''election fraud'' screed...put up or shut up!

Goofy, I am happy living anywhere because I don't let outside circumstances control my happiness.  As for Cobb county, I've lived here for over 30 years, raised my kids here and since I turned 62 don't pay school taxes anymore.  I am merely explaining the change in Cobb voting trends and making a prediction for the future.  The crime issue has started in SE Cobb and may extend to other parts but the last will be the area I live in.  All I can do is vote for sane government and if the majority in Cobb want to turn it into a sh!thole like Fulton and DeKalb so be it.  At this point the only reason I care what they do to the schools is for property values....and again, living in East Cobb we'll be the last to go.  So we will stay put but I do plan to spend more time at the lake when I fully retire.

Oh, and that huge red wave?  More akin to a stone dropped into the cesspool of the Trump Cult.
