Ran across a writeup on what the lefties are calling Romney's "blunder" with regard to his answer on the number of women in his Mass. administration. He used the term "binders of women" which I immeditaely understood to be many, many resumes for female candidates for him to consider, and they happened to be in (probably three-ring) binders.

So tell me, why is that such a "blunder"????

i agree that most people could easily understand R's point. but it was still a blunder because it shows objectification of women making it seem like he does not see them as competent humans but as files....numbers he needs. It also sounds funny...tin eared. Here O had a real woman to talk about...Lilly Ledbetter. And Lilly really connects with women voters. You see the difference between calling one by name and calling someone a binder,right?
