I would appreciate recommendations for a source for a hard-wired system for a new to be constructed lake home on the Alex City side of the Lake.

I personally do not leave any art, guns, high-end TVs, or other high resale items at my lake house. Maybe on the Alex City side you will get a short response time.

Near, but not in, Stillwaters, it takes the Sheriff a while to get here.

Good luck.

Thanks HTLman, This will be close if not a full time residence. There will be more than your basics to secure and will also require fire and rescue emergency type protection/alert. It is in the boonies of Coosa County. Heard there are more sighting of Bigfoot than humans (not referring to our popular fella Forum member).

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about Furlongs?

FEB I used Pro Link Security a couple of years ago and have been very happy with their follow up service. They beat Furlongs price a lot; however, I do see a lot of Furlongs around.

I still think the best security system around is a "SECURITY" sticker on the doors and windows.

....of Auburn.

They do work at the lake and are great.
They install security, internet, phone, entertainment etc etc.
they do it all.
Call and ask for Ed Meek...tell him his " Telecable College-Boy Slacker" sent you.
