I'll have to agree the old message board was better and much more entertaining. This one just doesn't fit "THE LAKE BUNCH".

The features of this board most closely matched the old one with some added features. What exactly do you not like about the new one?

The problem I see that some of your visitors might find troubling are as follows:

When one first comes on to one of your boards first pages, the site navigation bar and the links that permit posting/search/list all forums are at the bottom of the postings listing and not available at the top of the posting listings. Maybe you can have these links in both locations, but I personally do miss having them at the top.

Navigation would also be easier if there were also links that would take you from within a message string back to the forum's main message listing. Right now I have to hit "back" multiple times to get back to the main listing or go to "List all Forums" and then select the forum I was in to begin with.

If you plan to only have two forums, having links back to either forums main message listing at the top of every page along with the links you currently have would be useful, at least to me! If you plan to have many more additional forums, this would not be practical and we'll just have to use the "List all Forums" link to do this.

I like some of the new features, mostly the way one is able to view or step though a message string even when it splits off in different though related topics.

I think that what most may be objecting to is merely a difficulty navigating the new forum's treacherous waters!

Just trying to help! (;^)

The changes are not so bad after you spend a while here. I think the simpler the better. There were a couple of message boards on the net I really enjoyed being a part of, but they changed their format, and got so complicated to use and read, I just gave up on them. So let's not change this one too much!

I agree with better navigation, so I improved it. If you have any other suggestions, let me know.

I think it's great Bruce...it takes time for viewers to adjust to the change. It's amazing the reluctancy we as humans have to change when it's a close cousin to death and taxes!

I like it. Now, i may be able to miss those navigational hazzards, even at low pool! (©¿©)
