Okay here we go, I was on my way to help someone who needed a jump off. I knew I was low on fuel. You can finish the rest. I finally got in touch with Cat Boat. He came to the rescue. Not all powerboat owners are in a pi$$ing contest.

You can go back fishing during the day. As much money as we have invested you don't have to worry about us not being careful.

What is a cigar boat? I wonder if they have any deal on Havana's this time of year? I was always suspicious of a cigar smuggling ring on Lake Martin!!!!!!!

if one could afford a $250+ offshore boat that one could afford a place at the ocean....where it could be run to.... say the Bahamas?

One would think, since you know so much about offshore boating that you would know what they cost as well!!!!!!!

You could easily spend 250K on an offshore if you wanted. And I agree, While it would be nice to have an offshore powerboat, it wouldnt make much sense on the lake. If you just want a flashy boat to impress people on the lake, i assure you most jaws would drop further for a Riva than for a OS Powerboat. On the open water of the gulf give me a racer---in the confines of Lake Martin, a runabout makes more sense.

I have a medium loud boat and my buddy has a big loud boat. I just got a caravelle interceptor and he has a 288 sunsation. We will be up there june 3-5. I have been coming to lake martin for about 6 years, we are both from ft-walton beach, fl. See yall up there.

If you have not noticed, Lake Martin is a big lake.

No, Okeechobee (sp?) is a big lake, Michigan is a big lake, Ponchetrain is a big lake, Superior, Erie, Ontario and Huron---big lakes. Red Lake is a big lake. Great Salt Lake. . .rather big lake. Lake Martin is not that large of a lake. . .made smaller by a lot of traffic. The gulf is big AND has little traffic.

I can straighten this out.... Ponchetrain is big lake, I go there often. Gulf Coast is big, I do poker runs in destin, P.C., Orange Beach and other coastal areas multiple times a year. To go there, you gotta be fast and big (and loud and flashy don't hurt none) and travel hundreds of miles by water. I also like boating on lake martin! Don't make too much sinse to me to have two boats, one for lake martin and other for offshore use now does it? Hey fountain rider, shoefly, see yall at the poker run.

Now I don't live on the Gulf, do I? I live on the lake. I can't help the taffic. Boating is a hobby of mine. My boat is far from a offshore boat. If the traffic is such a big deal to you than you should think about moving. Maybe a golf couse would be a good place for you.
